How to get here....
Puerto Jimenez is a 9 hrs bus ride or a 50 minute plane ride form San Jose.
In Puerto Jimenez there is a collective mini bus leaving at 11 am and 4 pm in front of Super 96, Mon- Fri ( c 1500 or c 2000 with a backback ) It will drop you of in front of the school in Dos Brazos. From there, take a right, it is a 5 min walk to Los Mineros or ask the driver to take you all the way to Los Mineros.
A taxi from Puerto Jimenez to Dos Brazos is around $25.
We are located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 13 km from Puerto Jimenez. You can drive all the way up here and we have a parking lot.
If you drive from Puerto Jimenez it takes 25 minutes, turn the first to your left after the Tigre bridge then in Gallardo, turn left at the second street after the football field then drive another 8 km until you arrive at a bridge , turn right 1 km and Los Mineros will be on your left.
From Chacarita to Dos Brazos it takes around 2 hrs.
Drive towards Puerto Jimenez from Chacarita, pass Roncon, La Palma...Sandalo , then you will see a sign saying Parque National Corcovado, El Tigre turn right there , cross the village of Gallardo, turn left at the second road, after the football field, then drive another 8 km until you arrive at a bridge , turn right 1 km and Los Mineros will be on your left.
Do NOT follow some GPS, directing you to San Miguel, the road is fine all the way to Los Mineros and you do not have to cross a river. We are on the Dos Brazos river in El Tigre.
